Eugenia Uhl is an award-winning photographer and food stylist. She specializes in food photography, and also loves shooting places, products and people.

Bio

Eugenia Uhl is a native New Orleanian. Upon completing an advertising degree at Louisiana State University, she went on to Portfolio Center, a commercial art school in Atlanta. She began her career in 1989 and quickly became one of the New Orleans area’s top commercial photographers specializing in food, products, people and architectural interiors.  She also combines her fine art photography and calligraphy work into unique one-of-a-kind handmade books and frequently exhibits in Greater New Orleans galleries.

Eugenia’s photographs are in 10 cookbooks including Commander’s Kitchen, Galatoire's, Palace Café/Flavors of New Orleans, New Orleans Home Cooking, Essential Louisiana Cookbook, The Essential Louisiana Seafood Cookbook, the Bywater Cookbook, Kevin Belton's New Orleans Kitchen, Kevin Belton’s New Orleans Celebrations and The Essential New Orleans Cookbook (2020).

Eugenia’s full-service studio is complete with a kitchen and diverse range of props. A variety of backgrounds are also available for your project.
